To help keep our garden flourishing, we are in need of volunteers to fill our watering schedule from May - August. 

Summer Watering Schedule:   Please select the week(s) you can commit to watering the garden every day Monday - Friday.  Watering can be done anytime between 7am - 5pm.  BONUS - You get to harvest any items marked for water volunteers during this time.  Please choose your weeks here:  Summer Water Schedule

Garden Watering Instructions:

To water the garden, open the mailbox on the side of the shed. The code for the lock is "READ" and inside you will find the pipe you need to hook the hose into the waterline. The hookup is behind the shed next to the composter. The hose is on the ground next to the box. If for some reason the box has been pushed down, there is a screwdriver in the mailbox you can use to pop it open.

Hook the hose onto the gold pipe, then open the purple top in the box. The pipe is a key that fits into the waterline. Simply put the key in and gently turn the pipe. You will feel and hear the water turn on. When you are done roll the hoses back up, turn off the water and put all of the tools back into the mailbox and lock it.

Please water all of the raised beds. The water is on a timer that is on from 7:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday. 

If it rains you don’t need to worry about watering that day.
